Spring has Sprung

The weather has been GORGEOUS, and we're finally enjoying ourselves outdoors. Last Saturday morning we spent workin' and playin' in the yard. We brought out Jaydon's ride-on tractor (that he got from Santa this past Christmas). This was Jay's first time with it outdoors, and he was excited. He was able to turn the pedals a few times by himself (the slight downhill slope on our driveway was helpful), but he's still figuring out how to get it to go.

Jaydon was an eager helper spreading grass seed and moving weeds and rocks. If you've seen our yard, you know this is a good thing, because we do the same thing every year...seed, weed, move rocks...seed, weed, move rocks. Progress is slow, but its good progress. That evening we BBQed outdoors and had a nice dinner on the deck. It got chillier as the evening wore on, but it was fantastic none-the-less.

Today, Jaydon and I met some friends at the playground. Jaydon was fearless, as usual, on the playscape, but this time, he moved around very well on his own...going up and down the stairs very well, climbing everything and anything he could find, and running all over the place. Below is a picture of Jaydon with his friend Andrew on the see-saw, along with Andrew's Mommy, Bev, and little sister, Sarah. The next photo is one of Jaydon and his friend Max, playing in the sand box. These guys LOVE playing in the sand.
