Fire Truck

We were driving to Jay's school today, and seemingly out of nowhere Jay says...

"Mom - fa-fa-fa fire truck. And how 'bout this...la-la-la ladder truck."

Cool. He's got it.

He's been noting and repeating the s0und of the first letter of words...ma-ma-ma, pa-pa-pa, ah-ah-ah....and come up with other words that start with the same sound. When I ask him what letter he's sounding out, he mostly has no idea, but sometimes he gets it right.
