Easter

Our Easter was FUN albeit chilly as usual. When we arrived home from church, Jay found a basket of goodies with a note from the Easter Bunny. Jay was tickled by the note and his goodies included Kid K'nex kits, sunflower seeds to plant, and an activity book. The Kid K'nex were an immediate hit. The sunflower seeds and activity book were saved for another day as we headed outside to see if the Easter Bunny had hidden any eggs...he did! Jay had a blast looking for the eggs outside. He found the first 10 eggs in something like 10 seconds flat (it appears the Easter Bunny needs to make the egg hunt more challenging next year). The last two eggs were a little more difficult to find, so it wasn't all so easy.

Breaking open the eggs was another treat. Of all the goodies Jay found in his eggs, his favorite was a little black and white bunny, who he named "Cottontail".
