The Answers

Another new phrase from Jaydon..."just because". Today was the first I'd heard him use it.

Jay was having lunch with his friend, Anne (who is two days older than him). Anne had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Anne says to me, "Why is Jaydon allergic to peanuts?"

I say to Anne (in keeping with my attempt to avoid answering any and all questions that I find difficult to answer), "Why don't you ask Jaydon?"

Anne says to Jaydon, "Jay, why are you allergic to peanuts?"

Jaydon says to Anne, "Just because."
