The Frog

A couple of nights ago, Jay and I were chillin' outdoors, blowing bubbles, when I spotted a good sized frog on a nearby rock. It was about as big as the palm of Jaydon's hand. I called Jaydon over, and within seconds, Jaydon had not only touched the frog, he was holding it in his hand.

And what was my response? I screamed. You'd think I could've stayed composed, but I was freaked out by the fact that Jaydon had a frog in his hand. I don't mind looking at them, but I don't want those things touching me - woogies! It never even occurred to me that he would attempt to catch it, let alone succeed. Duh! Now I have something to add to my "Mommy To Do" list - overcome my ridiculous super aversion to touching frogs.

After my scream, Jaydon dropped the frog, and it hopped away. Fortunately, Jaydon was not too sad about it. He said, "Bye, Froggie" and waved. This was a situation definitely better suited for Brian.
