Today, for the first time ever, Jay and I went strawberry picking. Brian wasn't too disappointed that he missed out, since he doesn't really like strawberries anyway. Kat and Max joined us, and we had a blast.
Rose's Berry Farm is beautiful, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day (sunny, low 70's, with a gentle, cool breeze). Jay had fun picking and sampling the strawberries, and messing around with Max. He even managed to find a dandelion or two while we were out. We'll definitely be back for more!
Notice the shirt Jaydon is wearing...it says "I love Mommy & Daddy, but Grandma & Grandpa are the best". This is one of Jaydon's absolute favorite shirts right now. If it's clean and he finds it, you can be sure he'll be wearing it (choose your battles, eh?). He says it's a "big boy shirt" and "just like Dads". Brian and I suppose that he calls it a "big boy shirt" because when he first wore it, it was very big on him (it's a shirt we got from Grandma and Grandpa well over a year ago). As for being like Dad's shirt - Brian does have quite a few white shirts with graphics on them.
