The Minor Leagues

Brian and I took Jay to his first Minor League baseball game - the New Britain Rockcats versus the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. We met up with our friends Eric and Reilly and had a fantastic time. It turned out to be a gorgeous night, despite the forecast of rain.

Jaydon had fun imitating the batters as they swung and imitating the pitchers as they pitched. He clapped when the crowd clapped. He yelled "foul ball" a couple of times. He munched on all the "yummy" stadium food. He went up and down the bleacher stairs. He ran around the stadium with Reilly. He got to visit with Rocky, the Rockcat Mascot. He wasn't shy at all with Rocky. In fact, Rocky held him while I took their picture and Jaydon seemed to like it (though it's not clear from the picture).

It's been almost exactly two years since Jaydon's last (and first) baseball game. We went to a Cincinnati Reds game while we were in Kentucky visiting Nana and Pops. Jay had just as much fun at that game as he did at this game.
