Coconuts and Conch Shells

What do a coconut shell and a conch shell have in common?

They both sound like the sea when you hold them up to your ear. We learned this at the Hula Show we went to this past Tuesday. We learned some Hawaiian words (although all I can remember is aloha and mahalo) and some hula moves. Jaydon's favorite move was pretending to surf...lie on your belly, paddle, paddle, paddle, look behind you for that BIG wave, jump on your board, keep your balance, and off you go!

The Hula performance made me think about how much I want Jaydon to be exposed to Filipino dance (and culture in general). There are a few dances that I can recall that are so entertaining. I have to find out how to do this.
