Pool Party!

Who doesn't love Birthday Parties? Jaydon certainly does! What he REALLY LOVES is that at every Birthday Party is BIRTHDAY CAKE, and more importantly, YUMMY FROSTING on top! If the word is out there's a Birthday Party, all Jaydon talks about is BIRTHDAY CAKE! And occasionally he'll say, "Jaydon get presents, too?". He's only had frosting at a Birthday Party, and he rarely has anything that sweet, so I suppose it's good reason to get excited. As an added bonus, he's allowed to get very messy eating it. Combine that with one of our favorite activities - swimming - and you have a day that's outta this world. Hurray for Pool Parties and Happy Birthday to Maren! It was two weekends ago that we celebrated our friend, Maren's, 1st birthday, and had a fabulous time! We couldn't believe Jaydon kept a Birthday hat on his head at the party. He actually asked us to put it on him. Then he sat patiently in his chair, waiting for his cupcake!

Jaydon and I visit the pool once every few weeks or so (at least until summer settles in, and we can head to the lake), but this time was special because Daddy came along! The pool was especially fantastic because the water temp was 90+ degrees! Ahhh!
